Antipollution at the helm of Euroshore

On a significant Wednesday, the 11th of October, 2023, Euroshore convened a roundtable meeting that marked an important transition in leadership. During this meeting, Stelios Karampelas Antipollution’s PRF Director, was appointed as the new Vice President of Euroshore, signifying a fresh chapter in the organization’s journey towards a greener, more sustainable maritime industry.

Following this momentous leadership change, an event of utmost importance unfolded, titled “The Contribution of Port Reception Facilities to Decarbonizing the Shipping Industry.” This event showcased the critical role of Port Reception Facilities (PRF) in advancing the circular economy, driven by Antipollution’s pioneering best practices.

Antipollution’s presentation highlighted the integration of circular economy principles in our operations. Through the implementation of best practices, we have demonstrated how PRFs can efficiently manage and recycle waste from ships, contributing to the reduction of waste sent to landfills and promoting the responsible use of resources.
