Antipollution Egypt Launches Cairo Office Near New Administrative Capital
Cairo, Egypt — Antipollution Egypt has officially launched its new office near Egypt’s New Administrative Capital, marking a significant milestone in the company’s expansion into the region. The Cairo office will serve as the headquarters for Antipollution’s operations in Egypt, reinforcing its commitment to providing comprehensive environmental services aimed at reducing marine pollution and supporting sustainable development across the country.
Strategically located near the New Administrative Capital, the new office will oversee Antipollution Egypt’s wide range of services, including marine waste management, port reception facilities, oil spill response, and environmental education. This location positions Antipollution Egypt at the heart of the country’s infrastructure development, allowing the company to efficiently support ports, shipping lanes, and industrial hubs critical to Egypt’s economy and its global maritime presence.
Vyron Vasileiadis, Chairman of V Group of Companies and head of Antipollution, emphasized the importance of the new Cairo office in facilitating the company’s mission in the region. “The launch of our Cairo office is a crucial step in our efforts to bring world-class environmental services to Egypt. We are dedicated to working closely with local authorities, businesses, and communities to protect Egypt’s valuable marine ecosystems and support sustainable development,” Vasileiadis said.
The office launch follows Vasileiadis’ recent official visit to Egypt, during which final preparations were made for the commencement of Antipollution’s operations. Antipollution Egypt is poised to play a key role in addressing marine pollution along Egypt’s vital waterways, including the Mediterranean coast, the Red Sea, and the Suez Canal, one of the world’s busiest maritime corridors.
Antipollution Egypt will bring its expertise to the region by offering services that comply with international standards, including MARPOL regulations, ensuring that all marine waste is managed safely and sustainably. The company’s comprehensive solutions will include the collection and disposal of oily residues, bilge water, garbage, and other ship-generated waste, helping prevent pollution and protect Egypt’s coastal and marine environments.
