Antipollution for USS George W.Bush
Antipollution is honored to have provided its services to the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS George HW. Bush of the US Navy, following the massive military exercise with the Israeli armed forces called ” Juniper Oak’.
The USS George H.W. Bush, one of the largest in the world, is the tenth and last aircraft carrier of the Nimitz class, 332.9 m long, with a total displacement of 102,000 m2. with over 6000 crew members.
It is noted that the USS George W. Bush Nimitz-class aircraft carrier was built in 2009, has a a displacement of 100,000 tons. It can accommodate a total of 90 air assets including:
- Fighter aircraft type F/A-18C Hornet, F/A-18E/F Super Hornet,
- Electronic warfare aircraft of the EA-18G Growler type,
- ASEPE type E-2C Hawkeye aircraft
- HH-60H type helicopters
It can and does develop a speed of up to 30 knots.
